PHINA ORUCHE IN WORLD PREMIERE OF NEW PLAY “TAKEAWAY” AT LIVERPOOL EVERYMAN
Phina Oruche is about the make her debut performance in her hometown of Liverpool in the World Premiere of the theatre’s Creative Director’s, Nathan Powell, new play. His brilliant new work will be directed by the wonderful Amanda Huxtable & tackles the dramas of a family run Caribbean Takeaway navigating the ever changing landscape of Liverpool & in reflection, of the world. Phina stars in the lead role of CAROL HYLTON, the matriarch of the family & her first venture on to the boards at the legendary theatre marks a full circle journey for her from her roots growing up inner city Liverpool to LA & back home again.
